Actually, I think this is a daylily. One way to tell is to look at the foliage..tiger lilies have foliage on the same stalk as their blooms and daylilies have a bush of leaves from which the bare bloom stems rise. Doesn't matter though, it's a pretty bloom.
Mother Nature can get away with any colour combination she feels like, don't you think?
