Two doors discovered in Charleston, South Carolina. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed taking in the sights from our trip. There is so much history and lovely architecture.I could stay there for a year and not discover it all.
I'm glad you took the challenge. These are such great doors, I especially love the arches of 26. I like the contrast of the inviting 31 with the bit of busy road on the right. A place I would love to visit.
Thanks Ellen. These were in Charleston, South Carolina. In June I took my first trip there and it will not be my last. There are so many historic houses that have beautiful entryways. There is something for everyone. I would highly recommend going to Charleston. We will be going back one day.
I also live at #31, but I have to say that my front door doesn't have the charm of this one.
ReplyDeletewelcome to the challenge! Very nice detail you've captured in these doors - especially # 26
ReplyDeleteNice repeating patterns in both photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful doorway...there is something to be said for traditional white. Nicely photographed!
ReplyDeleteI fully agree with gerberbaby, very well done!
ReplyDeleteTony
great image looking through the arch into the door
ReplyDeleteLove the perspective of the #26 shot!
ReplyDeleteLove the double arches in the second shot.
